Manager: Ms Gina Ermacora
Ms Gina Ermacora acquired a B.Ed from Wits University in 2007. She worked as a supervisor for Class Act in the GPLMS (Gauteng Primary Language and Mathematics Strategy) from 2011 – 2013. She is currently employed as an educator at Colin Mann Primary School.
Below, Gina shares her thoughts.
As a child, what I loved most about school was reading and being with my friends.
The management role I played for Class Act involved encouraging the teachers to rediscover their passion for teaching.
Something I have learnt about management from Class Act is that everyone has the ability to make a bad situation good by changing the attitudes of those around them.
I consider my greatest achievement to be that my enthusiasm and passion was spotted by my employers. Their belief in my abilities has changed the way I think about myself.
One day I plan to go back to Class Act to make a difference in more learners’ lives.
I believe that Class Act is a top class organisation with amazing woman heading it up.
I draw inspiration from those people in my life who have shown me how to be a good leader and made me believe in myself more than I ever thought possible.
My personal motto is reach for the moon, even if you miss, you will land among the stars.
